Fuses-Viader Architects, together with Jordi Mansilla and Jorge Perea, has been awarded as the winner team at the final stage in the competition for the renewal of "La Savinosa" former sanatorium, competing alongside 4 other teams selected from a group of 25 presented in the first stage. The competition, organized by the Architects' Association of Catalonia and the Tarragona Province, aimed to develop a Masterplan for the 80.000m2 site that include outdoor spaces and a group of buildings that housed the former sanatorium, abandoned for the last 44 years. The winning proposal focuses on the one hand in the recovering and expansion of the existing buildings, preserving the historic character of the set, and on the other hand in the recovering of the natural spaces opening them to the general public, providing to the city of Tarragona with a new park and a promenade that links the Arrabassada and Savinosa beaches.
Fuses-Viader Architects has been awarded winners in the competition for the renewal of the Palamós Sports Port Service Buildings and surroundings. The project includes a new proposal for the Nautic Club Offices and Sailing Club and School Building, the Nautic Club Building with Restaurant and Service areas, as well as the refurbishing of the Port, including an urban and landscape renovation of the area and a new Control Tower.
Fuses-Viader win the First Prize for the renewal and environmental improvement of the façade of the Catalonian Architects Association (COAC) Headquarters in Barcelona. In collaboration with Jordi Mansilla and Jorge Perea.
In August began the construction of the dome. For its complexity it will take almost two months to be completed. The impressive dome will be an Auditorium with capacity for more than 400 people
